In this category, athletes must perform certain moves as stated by the judges in order to qualify for the main event. They should complete two passes for every stage; eight elements make up one pass.
Acrobatics is unique from the other types in that the participants are regarded as the equipment. They perform in pairs of twos to fours; they do handstands, balances and holds on each other. The pairing may be all men, all women or a mix in gender; it is also not an Olympic event yet.
